The goal of our company is to commercialize our integrated imaging device which combines intravascular ultrasound imaging (IVUS) and optical coherence tomography (OCT). OCT has a poor penetration depth resulting in imaging of limited plaque regions while IVUS has a low resolution for imaging. Currently, patients need to go through two scanning processes, one for OCT imaging and one for IVUS imaging. Therefore, an operable system that integrates both OCT and IVUS imaging techniques into one probe is highly desirable.

To accurately and consistently provide improved real-time intravascular imaging to better diagnose atherosclerosis as well as other cardiovascular diseases.
